My friend Ari is growing a sweet potato in his apartment in Tel Aviv.
After sending me this picture we read about sweet potatos, and who knew these sweet treats are asexual!
These heart-shaped leaves prove that asexuality is not devoid of love!

157. I Love Me

t-shirt, Rabin Square, Tel Aviv
Following the heinous crime against GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender), more than 70,000 people showed up to protest against homophobia in Rabin Square.
Lahav showed up in solidarity wearing this shirt, which ironically reads"I love me", as it peaks through the vest worn over it.
This heart is out of hiding and is not afraid to love itself!

145. Rock-a-Bye-Baby

cotton blanket, Tel Aviv
Ziva and I have one of those uniquely special freindships where we can go for stretches of time without seeing one another, yet when we meet up we immediately pick up where we left off.
Today, just as we began to play catch up on the past few months I spotted this baby blanket hanging on a bush.
Just like in our friendship, I am sure that the original owner of this blanket would be thrilled to reunite with this heart.
