349. Praying for Love

silver 18th C. sidur (prayer book) cover, Diaspora Museum, Ramat Aviv
Today I joined a group of Olim (people who immigrated to Israel) on a tour of the Diaspora museum.
As they begin their journey of life in Israel, I am busy finding hearts and praying for love - gotta lev it!
If you too connect to your roots in Israel, and are considering making Aliyah (immigration to Israel), check out the Jewish Agency's web site http://www.jewishagency.org/JewishAgency/English/Aliyah/Aliyah+Info

227. Crush

berry (AKA Zanzalakh), Tel Aviv
"If you hold back your feelings because you are afraid of getting hurt, you end up hurting anyway" - author unknown
This heart has accepted that the only thing it can control is the choices it makes and the risks it takes - This heart is both relieved and afraid.
This heart would love for others to support the Jewish Agency in helping to transform the lives of children at risk in Israel http://www.jafi.org.il/projects/risk.htm

135. Prayers

written prayers in crevices of wall, Western Wall, Jerusalem

The Western Wall is believed to be the only remaining part of the Holy Temple. Jews from all over come to pray at the wall, and customarily place slips of paper with personal written prayers in the crevices of the wall.
The heart to the right of this woman praying is filled with prayers of love.

To send a prayer of your own to the Western wall via iPhone http://www.facebook.com/pages/Send-a-Prayer-The-Western-Wall/102174766372#
