217. The Need for Love on our Streets

part of road, Tel Aviv
As my neighborhood is literally being torn apart and turned upside down, I am struggling to find parking. In my moment of frustration it dawned on me that to others these very streets are the place they call home.
This heart, standing tall, does nothing less than shout out the need for love on our streets.
This heart would love for others to support ELEM in helping runaway, homeless and neglected Israeli and Arab youth in distress http://www.elem.org/index.php

129. Sweethearts

sweets, outdoor market, Tira
Tira is a Muslim Arab city within Israel. It is part of what is referred to as the triangle, a concentration of Israeli towns and villages adjacent to the Green Line. Today I met Ashraf who was selling these sweethearts at the outdoor market.
There is something very sweet about Jews and Muslim Arabs together in an outdoor market - these hearts make me want more!
Ashraf's heart would love for others to help fight cancer. (awaiting link)
